This policy explains what information Robertson Convent Higher Secondary School collects through this website, how it is used, and how it is kept secure. It applies to robertsonconvent.ac.in only.
Information we collect
The only personal information this website collects directly from visitors is what you submit through the enquiry form on the Contact Us page: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message. We do not require an account or login to browse the public site.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used only to respond to the question or request you submitted, and are seen by school staff who handle admissions and general enquiries. We do not sell, rent or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not run any analytics, advertising or visitor-tracking scripts. The only cookie the site sets is a strictly-necessary session cookie for staff signing in to the administrative area — it is not set for ordinary visitors browsing the public pages.
Embedded third-party content
Some pages embed content hosted elsewhere — a Google Map on the homepage and this page's footer, the academic calendar via Outlook, and video content via YouTube. These are loaded directly from Google, Microsoft and YouTube, who may set their own cookies according to their own privacy policies when you interact with that content. We do not control those cookies.
How information is stored
Enquiry submissions and other school-managed content are stored in a MongoDB Atlas database. Uploaded images and documents (gallery photographs, notices) are stored with Cloudflare R2. All traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS.
How long we keep it
Enquiry submissions are retained for the school's own record-keeping and are not automatically deleted after a fixed period. You can ask us to delete a submission you made using the contact details below.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for parents, guardians, prospective families and the public — it is not designed to collect information directly from children. Student academic and administrative records are handled separately through the school's own systems, not through this website.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to r.c.school1994@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
